At the age of 21, the new migrant to Kathmandu dreamt of becoming a professional bodybuilder. He worked hard and clinched the silver medal at the prestigious 9th Dharmashree Body Building Competition in Nepal.

But his dreams were short-lived. Bodybuilding proved to be an expensive passion. He stopped training intensively following a serious hand injury.

Today, Rupesh runs a bar and dance lounge in Thamel to earn a living. He has turned to his other passion – music. He plans to make more solo albums. But like bodybuilding, it is a long and lonely road.
